Send In The Clowns…

I’ve been busy. I know I have a lot of catching up to do! Here we go…!

I’m getting ready for the SDPCG retreat coming up. 5 days of doing what I want, when I want…mostly.  😀  This year we have a theme of “Under The Big Top”. Not being a big clown fan, these were still fun to make. I hadn’t realized how long it’s been since I’ve caned. I only needed 75…

I ended up with 124!

Just A Bunch Of Beads

I’ve been a little scatterbrained lately, as if that’s unusual. I’m not feeling the big projects I should be working on. So, in the meantime I’m doing some quickie beads. I got out my polymer clay canes, scrap clay and cranked out a bunch!

Woo Hoo! AND, I didn’t have to burn up a bunch of brain cells to get these lil’ beauties!

A Happy Crowd

I finally made a polymer clay cane I had been meaning to make for a long time. It was so simple in its design that it made me nervous. Remember the “Have a nice day” stickers with the happy face and back in the ’60s? That’s the happy I was going for. Now, I guess happy belongs to Walmart.

Anyway, I put it together and let it rest a few days, mostly I was nervous to reduce and cut it. My yellow was really too soft.

I think they came out pretty good, considering! They all look happy. The eyes are a bit wonky…but…whatever.

Sometimes, I can relate to wonky.  – Tina –
