Send In The Clowns…

I’ve been busy. I know I have a lot of catching up to do! Here we go…!

I’m getting ready for the SDPCG retreat coming up. 5 days of doing what I want, when I want…mostly.  😀  This year we have a theme of “Under The Big Top”. Not being a big clown fan, these were still fun to make. I hadn’t realized how long it’s been since I’ve caned. I only needed 75…

I ended up with 124!

And The Bead Goes On

I’m back in the mood for beading… sort of. I’m not sure if this counts as beading in the way you normally think of.

Inspired by the Huichol Indians of Mexico, I have decorated the top of a wood box.

Making up the design as I go, one bead at a time. I like working on this kind of project when I have little bits of time here and there. I can stop and start at a moment’s notice and even let my mind wander. I’m almost done with a smaller one I started Wednesday night. I haven’t worked on it today, I’ll go finish it after I make/order dinner…tee hee!

Also, I think, I’m going to paint the box black….you think?

One Tomato, Two Tomato

New mini harvest, fresh out of the oven…

Yup, out of the oven. They are polymer clay beads.

They actually put me in the mood for chips & salsa. But then again, everything does. 😀

Just A Bunch Of Beads

I’ve been a little scatterbrained lately, as if that’s unusual. I’m not feeling the big projects I should be working on. So, in the meantime I’m doing some quickie beads. I got out my polymer clay canes, scrap clay and cranked out a bunch!

Woo Hoo! AND, I didn’t have to burn up a bunch of brain cells to get these lil’ beauties!
