A Pickle in the Tree

Boy, when the mood hits me I can really be productive. I am so on a roll making things right now! Too bad I can’t be like this all the time. I may even clean the garage….ha! Let’s not get carried away now!

My project at the moment is Christmas ornaments.

Pickles.

Look at them…aww, the are so excited about Christmas! Bless their little green hearts.

They will be in my Etsy shop later today!

One Angry Carrot

I just baked some polymer clay carrot pens. Looking at all those happy little faces…

Oh, #%&*!

I didn’t put a hole in one guy’s head for his feather carrot top!!

Yikes, he is not happy about this either.

As soon as I get their tops on they will be going up in my Etsy shop.

Crocheting With Butter

Eww, that does sound a little gross. I just don’t know how else to describe it.

Last Saturday, I finally went to the little Farmer’s Market at Cuyamaca College. It’s fairly new and a bit small. Lots of veggies, nuts, handmade goods and food stands. The second booth I came to was yarn. Bingo! I have a new crochet hook I want to try out. My friend Beth made it for me. Thanks Beth! Since I have jury duty on Monday this is perfect timing. This yarn was yummy! It was Alpaca. I never knew those crazy llamas could be so soft! I bought 2 skeins!

I couldn’t wait to start making something! I hope I have enough to keep me busy.   – Tina –
